Social Events

Several times a year the patrollers of the Seattle NSP get together for meetings, training and just for fun. We make the meetings short and the parties long. These social events provide a great time to meet and work with other patrollers. Coordinate skating schedules, find out what is happing in the skating community and make plans.
Alki Beach Party: Sun, Sand and Hot Dogs pass the mustard, please
Rollout for "04", we mix work with a lot of fun and friends. This is the only time we skate together. It's our way of letting everyone know we are back once more.
After the first roll around the lake it's time to break out the coolers full of cold beverages, sit back and enjoy the lake.
Getting ready to Roll Out: NSP kick off event for the 2003 season at Green Lake Park. It's the only time we all roll together. We even had a TV crew show up last year. What a Blast!
First Aid Class for 2004: For some it is just a refresher but others it's their first time. Everybody helps everybody. We bring a sack lunch and practice the Heimlich maneuver. First Aid is required by national, but no one said it had to be boring!
This year our instructors came from the National Ski Patrol to help us with our first aid classes, thanks alot guys!
